‘Operations man on the ground and all round good guy’. Jeremy first came up with the transport idea while overseas checking out the ‘food truck’ TukTuk. Jeremy’s previous experience in the Tourism Industry in Queenstown as a white water instructor and various other enterprises has stood him in good stead to give visitors to the city of Welly a TukTuking good time! But buckle up if you get him behind the handlebars, as he likes to provide a true Thai experience.
The Godfather of the TukTuk Cartel, Gary brings wisdom, hard work and a whole heap of experience to the vehicle side of the business. Our Social Enterprise Wizard. Mandy has a love of youth and giving them direction and opportunity. Mandy first came up with the idea of the ‘food truck’ which initiated a trip overseas with Jeremy and returning with the first electric TukTuk to hit NZ’s shores. The coffee and food TukTuk is our original baby and Mandy would like it to employ, empower and teach youth. Watch this space she’s doing great things!
The youngest of the Cartel, Glen spends most of his days fighting fires in Hawkes Bay. He was introduced to TukTuk’s by Jeremy and was immediately hooked. An ex-semi professional rugby player, Glen can turn his hand to almost anything. With his experience and motivation the TukTuk Cartel are in good hands.
Nic is our talented designer creating the concept for our coffee tuktuk ’The Cart Co.’ An original Cartel member, Nic was charged with creating the look and feel of our family partnership and very quickly has become part of it! She is one of the first in NZ to get behind the handlebars of these electric beauties and took to driving like a duck to water. If she wasn’t so busy designing then no doubt would be our chief driver extraordinaire.
